Welcome to Oria.

We say we’re people helping people… What does that actually mean?

First, you’re a person. (We presume. If you’re just really awesome AI, hi! Let’s be friends!)

Secondly, you interact with people. In fact, you have dedicated your career to this. But a lot of you are burned out, are run down, or are wondering how to make the work you love integrate into the life you live.

And third, in case it isn’t obvious, you are a person too. Healthcare has a way of forgetting that YOU are a person and not a billable NPI. This means that some clients drain you while others energize you. This means that you have an ideal schedule, caseload, need some agency around who sits across from you, around what populations you can and cannot treat as your best-self. You know this because you’re a wise person.

That’s right. Therapists. Psychiatrists and their teams. Our psychologists who test and evaluate. Yep. Every. Single. One. Of. You… People. You’re a wise person who, if we had to guess, is burned out, tired, and maybe even thinking of leaving this career. When it was your calling! We worry about that. More people than ever need access to quality mental healthcare, and we cant afford to lose passionate providers like you. It’s our responsibility to make a job, a workplace, and a culture you can be a part of. Our promise? To help you provide mental healthcare without sacrificing your own mental health.

So, again: why people helping people? Because that’s it. That’s all there is. The life you live, the work you do, the people over here showing up to help you; the people all over the place, at their laptops, with dogs on their laps and their favorite coffee mug by their side. The client struggling with postpartum depression while her baby sleeps for 20 minutes, the executive having a panic attack in an airport, the man struggling with substance use while in a state prison, the child in foster care, the seasoned three-star general whose intrusive thoughts are getting the best of him. We’re all just people. And what if we thought about behavioral health and mental healthcare — really, mental wellness — as nothing more than figuring how to be a better person. How to be the best version of Y O U. That’s what you want for your clients. Why shouldn’t your job want that for you?

We do. Come on. Answer some questions. Dive in. Find out if Oria is the right place for the next leg of your career.

Ready?

Set?

Let’s talk about you.

Oria is a meritocracy. That means we see you as a person, not a machine (unless you’re AI. In that case, hi again!). Where machines are designed with a definite mechanical function to perform a particular task, human beings are particles of stardust compressed into a body with superior mental development, capable of innovation, iteration, exploration, love, passion, and so much more that we cannot simply define in singular terms. Your value is indefinite and boundless. Cosmic. Despite all similarities you may share with us, whatever makes you unique is exactly what makes us want you in our orbit.

  • Employee Testimonials

Take a look at the reasons our teammates love working at Oria.

  • “Oria makes me feel safe: we treat one another with respect, we seek to understand above all else, and our leadership believes that if providers are well cared for, they have a better ability to care for their clients. Leadership believes in data-driven care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and collaborative care among various licensure levels to support clients most effectively.”

    Emily F., Therapist

  • “Working for Oria has changed my life. I am beyond grateful for Amanda and Richard! Oria has been a place where I not only have been able to use my abilities but also a place where what I’m passionate about has been pulled on and cultivated. When I first started my journey to becoming a counselor I was new in recovery myself. I was in active addiction for 27 years. I came to Texas and decided to become a drug counselor because that’s what ‘I knew best.’ I had began the healing process in my own life with first of all the Power of God and by walking in purpose. When I met Amanda and she began talking to me about the Walnut Grove project I knew that God had put us together. Through that project and continuing to work with Amanda and Oria I grew and healed beyond what I could ever imagine. I am not the same since coming to Oria. My life has so much more clarity. Oria is truly a culture of people doing what they were called to do in the capacity they were meant to do it in. It’s never work with Oria! It’s a place to continue to grow and change and build all in the name of bringing hope and healing to others!”

    Tammie M., Hiring Administrator

  • “I love the flexibility of it all! I can schedule patients for how long I realistically take talking to them instead of rushing through appointments. I have a flexible schedule that I can change so I can actually live my life and be my own person in addition to doing the work I love. With my spouse’s schedule being crazy, I am able to have consistency and predictability that I never had inpatient. I also love the culture and feeling confident enough to voice my complaints here.”

    Kate W., Prescriber

  • “When I first heard about Oria, I was excited for the ability to build my own schedule, work with my passion populations, and to organize my time to be a therapist as well as a mom. Oria has not disappointed. I have more flexibility to pursue my own passions, and to be present with my children. I have the ability to work with amazing clients, and to continue learning and growing as a therapist. Above all else, I have found a sense of balance and peace that I have not experienced previously in my career. The leadership at Oria is provider-focused, and genuinely focused on building and growing a company that cares for it’s employees so we can better care for our clients. I am grateful for the opportunity to work for Oria, and I’m so excited to see how the company continues to grow.”

    Kristen Z., Therapist

  • Just before finding Oria, I felt like I had lost sight of my trajectory in this field. I knew exactly what I wanted to do but no idea how to do it because postings advertised jobs, not purposes. I came to Oria because I wanted to follow my calling and hoped they’d bring me closer to it - I had no idea how right I would be. I have not only the freedom but the trust to choose my own work, including when and how I work with my clients, the special projects I tag myself into because they are opportunities for both my growth and Oria's, and I seek out silly ways to make my teammates happy. The sincerity, optimism, dedication and love of the leadership team is like nothing else that I've experienced. I am so grateful to be here and I tell anyone who will listen that my stars aligned so that I could be brought into Oria's orbit.

Chrissie C., Provider Partner and Therapist

  • "No matter what career path I am on, I need to know that what I’m doing makes a difference in someone’s life, and working for Oria as a customer experience advocate does that for me. We truly are people helping people, and that is a mission that I have the honor to wake up to everyday. Whether I’m supporting a provider, problem solving with one of my CX teammates, or taking that phone call where someone was brave enough to ask for help, I know a tiny difference is being made. We are one step closer to providing meaningful mental healthcare to our communities."
