Welcome to Oria.
We say we’re “people helping people.” But what does that actually mean?
It starts with this: you’re a person. You have your own life, experiences, and challenges—and the way you think, live, and care for others has a ripple effect. When we support you, you’re able to better support the people you serve.
Here’s something we never forget: the mental health professionals you turn to are also people. Therapists, psychiatrists and their teams, psychologists who test and evaluate—and yes, everyone here at Oria—we’re people too.
So why “people helping people”? Because that’s the essence of our work. It’s the life you live, the work you do, the colleagues who stand beside you, and the clients you serve. Whether it’s someone joining a session from their kitchen table, a parent finding support while their child naps, or a client reaching out during a moment of crisis—we are all just people, working toward becoming the best version of ourselves.
And if we think about mental healthcare—really, mental wellness—as simply the work of becoming a better person, then it’s only natural that the same care and respect we give our clients should also be given to the people providing that care.
We are people helping people. Always.
What exactly is Oria?
An in person and telehealth company.
We offer both in-person and telehealth options, so your care can fit the season of life you’re in right now.
Our in-person providers see clients at both our Texas based brick-and-mortar locations in Killeen and San Antonio. For those who prefer or need virtual care, our secure telehealth platform allows us to meet face-to-face—wherever you are—using any compatible device with a camera and microphone. Whether it’s your phone, your laptop, your tablet, or whatever works best for you, we’ll be there on the other side of the screen.
A mental healthcare company.
Oria brings together the full spectrum of mental health providers—therapists (Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Psychologists) and psychiatric prescribers (Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants).
Our founder is a Psychologist, and even our leadership team has deep, firsthand experience in mental healthcare. We understand the work because we’ve lived it—and we hope that makes us your kind of people.
A company that cares about knowing you.
To connect you with the right provider, we start by getting to know you—your needs, goals, and preferences. It’s not a one-way process; we take time to get to know our providers too, and we want you to feel comfortable knowing yours.
We believe behavioral health services work best when you and your provider connect as people. The journey toward wellness is most effective when it’s built on a true partnership—one where trust, understanding, and shared goals guide the way.
What we’d like to know about you.

Maybe it’s things like…
I haven’t been feeling like myself, and I decided it was time to do something about it.
My doctor referred me/my child/my family member.
I need clearance for a certain surgery or other procedure (e.g. bariatric surgery)
I moved to the area, and I need a new clinician for my mental health treatment.
I need help with my behavioral health meds. (e.g. antidepressants, treatments for ADHD, etc.)
-
Are you currently in treatment (therapy or psychiatry)?
Have you been in treatment in the past?
What do you feel helped you benefit from treatment in the past or, inversely, what do you feel kept you from benefitting from treatment?
-
In your own words, what are you looking for in a mental health professional.
It’s okay to say things like “I don’t know. I’ve never done this before.” just as much as it’s okay to say “I know I need someone who listens and can be patient with me. My last provider felt harsh.” Or whatever else feels true to you.
Some things to know about us.
-
We offer both telehealth and in person options for our clients. We want to meet them where they are and whatever season of life they are in. Our in person providers are at our Killeen location and coming in Fall of 2025 San Antonio location.

Absolutely. If you or your family member identifies with any of the following situations or circumstances, we’ll recommend either an in-person or hybrid (part-telehealth, part-in-person) plan.
A child under six years old
An individual in active psychosis (hallucinations, delusional thinking, etc.)
An individual in active detox from alcohol, or controlled substances
A child (under 18) on the Autism Spectrum, previously diagnosed or a child who is suspected of, or needs to rule out, whether they’re on the Autism spectrum. Industry best practice encourages administration an important evaluation exam called the ADOS, which must be done in person. While other versions of assessment can be done remotely, the ADOS and other developmental test components are best done in person.
An individual who is nonverbal and relies entirely on their caregiver to communicate.
An individual in acute crisis, presenting with active risk of harm to themselves or others. In this case, we would be happy to consider providing care post-stabilization.

Sometimes this happens! Because again, we’re all people and not all people are compatible with one another. If you feel your provider isn’t the right fit, you are welcome to let your therapist or our Customer Experience Team know so that we can transfer you to another provider.
-
Our providers are paneled with all major insurance carriers. If you will be billing insurance, we will make sure to match you with an in-network therapist who is also compatible with your needs for care.

“The process so far has been great. The ability to conduct all of my testing online or via telehealth has been helpful too. It means that I don’t have to load the dog for another appointment, and I have a lower risk of anxiety getting in the way. [The Doctor] has been very helpful and elaborate throughout the sessions. I highly recommend these folks."
